Tamron 18-50 f/2.8 lens: Do these photos look a bit soft to you?

Can you please take a look at just a few photos on the link below and let me know if the photos look a bit soft? Or is it just my bad picture taking technique? How can I make pictures more in focus? I used auto-focus on most of these photos. Thanks for your help.
