Should I get CIS for R800???

I purchased a reburb R800 from Epson this fall and already I'm getting low ink warnings on 3 of the cartridges...checking online to replace all three with OEM ink will cost me over $42!! I'm wondering if I should invest in a CIS sytem?? I'm printing mainly with Red River Paper. Thanks for any information and advice!!
