Nec 2690 Question & Help

I would like to get a 2690. I assume I will need a new video card to get the max resolution as right now I have the Geo Force FX5200.

Therefore I will probably buy a DVI card and I am looking for suggestions on a card that works well with this combination. I am running XP on s 3 year old dell.

Also, my main application is CS3. So with the wide screen monitor will I be able to move palets to one side and leave the editing area in the center. Originally, I was going to use the dual monitor capability for this, but if I can do it all on one screen so much the better.
