Tom Hogan's 70-200mm f2.8 2008 prediction

In case you haven't read his 2008 predictions, he predicted a new 70-200mm with nano coating and new/latest VR II. Bypassing the debate if this lens will be manufactured, I'm interested in understanding these two features.

The Nikon 400mm f2.8 VR press release says the VR provides four stops. Is the current 70-200 VR 2-3 stops?

What is the Nikon stated advance for Nano coating?
