Micro-Nikkor 85 f/2.8 PC - enough to meet the Scheimpflug's rule?

Dear owners of this legendary lens or people who knows!
I'm just in 5 mins of buying the 85 PC for my intention to shoot jewellery and etc...
As far as I need max lens' magnification of 1:2, 39 cm of the closest focusing is my work distance to the subject.
Taking into account the 39 cm of distance from the lens to the subject and 8.3 degrees of tilting this lens, according to my calculations this is enough to lay the DOF plane down parallel to the ground - to the subject's plane, according to the Scheimpflug's rule. And the height from that plane to the camera would be approx 5-6 cm...
Anyone who shoots jewellery or similar things with 85 PC?..
Am I correct in my believe that I will be able to make it real?..
Thanks!
