Don’t buy the S5 if you want to do long exposures!

The S5 is not a serious SLR. I’m sorry but it can’t create a useful exposure longer than 3 minutes so I guess that you have to stick with weddings. What makes it worse is that the hot pixels are there for pretty much every shot and as the exposure gets longer the number of hot pixels goes up exponentially. Don’t believe me, take a few completely dark shots at different exposure times and see for yourself.

In the specifications from Fuji for the S5, under Shutter;
"30 sec. to 1/8000 sec., Bulb*3"
The note for 3 states;

"Images shot with long exposures may appear coarse and may also be affected by noise such as white dots."

Back to Nikon...
