Recommended D2HS settings?

Hello all. I just bought a used D2HS, stepping up from my D50. I'm an amateur who uses the camera to capture family and friends.

I've done some searching through older posts for recommended settings for the various menu options on the D2HS, without much success. Would anyone be kind enough to post their favorite contrast/sharpening/autofocus/etc. settings for typical family photo situations (indoor candids, portraits, outdoor kids' sports, ...)
