Re: Monitor does not have a brightness adj
In reply to Dominic.Chan, Oct 28, 2007

Believe it or not, but I don't see these options. I have a Dell E172FP. The graphics card is an Nivida 5300

Right now I am calibrating the monitor with a HUEY and my main complaint is not we the color between screen and print, but rather the difference between the density of the colors. Prints are darker than screen.

Most CRT monitors label the luminance adjustment as "Contrast". LCDs
typically label the equivalent adjustment as "Brightness", but there
are also those that label them the same way as CRTs.

Does you monitor not have either adjustment?
