Lightroom import folder naming - Folder Description Problem

We are converting to Lightroom after using Cam2PC for picture importing from card reader. Cam2PC had been set up to import as:

Year/Date - Description of Shoot

Cam2PC automatically does the year and the date, and we key in the description before download.

For example there would be a folder for 2007, and in that folder would be the following folders with numerous jpg and raws in each.

2007-10-21 Conrad Family
2007-10-22 Jessie Brown
2007-10-22 Samantha Stewart

etc... with hundreds more folders (one for each job)

I know we can do keywords and other goodness, with Lightroom, but we want to be able to find folders of pictures with native Windows File Explorer, and the description is invaluable for this.

Any ideas?
