D3 Prices Announced In Canada

The price for the D3 is finally announced by Nikon Canada at a Special Introduction price of $5,499.95. Does that mean they intend to put the price UP? Hope not. http://www.nikon.ca/en/Product.aspx?m=17009
Price is already $500 more then we were guessing it was going to be.
