Auto ISO will limit ISO to 200 without flash, 640 with flash. I ISO will limit to whatever maximum you've set for it, with or without flash. So if you set ISO MAX to 800, I ISO could choose any ISO in that range, where Auto ISO would be a little more conservative, especially without flash. But either mode is able to choose intermediate ISO values like 125, 160, 250, 320, etc., which you can't find on the menu. And if you choose not to use either, you severely limit flash range, especially if you set ISO low, like at 100.
