The R4 - no disgrace

This image was taken from the back of a lecture hall - about as far away from the stage as you can get - with a R4 on 800 ISO and native B&W and it has been cropped to boot - but no other manipulation. Live in concert.

The GR-D and the GX100 would not have enough zoom and a dslr would have made unconscionable racket.

The R4 did not disgrace (grain or no grain)
