For a moment I was thinking of calling this thread "How to say it with grin" in the light of all the threads about low image quality of small sensor cameras and all the pining for the DP1. You might also want to read Mike Johnston's essay, "Properties and Qualities", on his blog (The Online Photoghrapher), which discusses camera lust and consumerism.
