Animals up close.... (post yours)

It's been raining here the last few days and I haven't been able to do much outside. I've been spending some time looking through my photos and that has gotten me even more in the mood to go out shooting when the weather clears.

I thought it might be fun to post some animal images and invite others to do the same. I'm fascinated sometimes by the looks I've seen on some of these guys faces. Makes you sort of wonder what they are thinking. Some of these are taken in the wild and some are also taken in zoos around the US.

I enjoy making images of animals as though they were people - portraits, if you will. Here's a few of mine. Let's see some of yours....
