Ebay Flash Triggers

Anyone use these? I was planning to purchase a flash cord used which comes out to about the same price as these. So wonder if this will give me more flexibility than a 4ft cord. I know these are not TTL but should allow me to have the flash farther away than a 4FT cord.

Anyone used another type of these? If so and like it, can you post a link of the type you are using? BTW. I use a 430EX with my Canon XT. Thanks in advance.
