Need Cropping Advice

Here is an image of a lovely cove in central Maine.

The first image is the original with some PP, the second is a cropped version. Which is more effective? I wanted to capture as much detail as possible, but i wonder if the first is too busy? Please let me know which is better, or better yet, how would you crop it?
