D80 Concert Shots; C&C appreciated

Hello everyone,

Just got a D80 a few weeks ago. Because I live in New Orleans, I thought I's go down to Bourbon Street and shoot some live music. This is my first time doing this in a long while.

All shots were taken using a Tamron 2.8 17-50mm, on aperture 2.8, matrix metering. Some cleaning up was done in Lightroom. ISO was set on H 1.0

I'm thinking of a faster prime lense (1.4 maybe) to be able to shoot at a faster shutter. Also I ave heard that you can get better results with spot metering.

I'm not too excited about the amount of grain with pushing the camera that far.

Anyone have any experience with shooting concerts with a D80?

I welcome any comments and criticism. I want to make my photography better.
