Vegas: tripod or not
Jul 13, 2007
|
I've been to Vegas more than 50 times, mostly for tradeshows and other business. So I've always traveled light. In Jan. 2008, when I go to the Consumer Electronics Show, I'm thinking about some extra time to play photographer.
Has anyone tried to deal with a tripod (on the Strip or even tourist spots like Reck Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire). I'm just wondering if these places (and others) are worth visiting in January and whether schlepping a tripod is just too much of a hassle. Would be interested in your experiences!

When I ask which Canon lenses are best,
people tell me to 'go to L.'
