Why no anti-reflective coating on E-510 LCD?

Why doesn't olympus include an anti-reflective coating on the E-510? I was really hoping the E-510 would be able to replace my G3 as my hiking camera. Unfortunately the lack of anti-reflective coating on the LCD keeps it from living up to its full potential. Live view is next to useless outdoors and evaluating exposure after the fact is equally difficult. Hopefully Olympus will spend a few more bucks on the next variant and include an anti-reflective coating. I really like the weight and feel of the camera - with the kit lenses it isn't too too heavy for backpacking, but the lack of anti-reflective coating really gave me fits on a recent 4 day backpacking trip. So much that I've decided to sell it to a friend and wait for something better.
