White point or 6500K?

I have an HP 30"
What white point do you choose to colibrate your monitors? Is it native or 6500K?
When I do 6500K my monitor's color looks whashed out but I get accurate results when prining. When I do native point my monitors color looks beautiful but they way off from the print,
