Mystery!: What camera is this?
Jun 6, 2007

Look at this photo I found on the Sandisk website:

( http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Item (1138)-SDAD-38-SanDisk_CompactFlash_PC_Card_Adapter.aspx)

This camera has the body and button layout of the sd20 but the Playback/Movie switch has been moved and the cover for AV out/USB port has been removed. See sd20 pic:

And sd20 pic:

And look at the new version of the sd10/sd20, the sd30/sd40:

So you can see, the camera doesn't match either. It's simply an sd20 (which does come in silver BTW) with a rearranged button layout in order to make a bigger screen. Actually, when the sd30 came out and had a zoom lens, many people were upset and just wanted the same style camera as the sd10/sd20 with the fixed lens and no zoom, but with the bigger screen and faster Digic II. (The sd30 and sd40 are a huge step down in image quality from the sd10/sd20).

So, what do you think? What's up with this picture on the Sandisk site? Why would they rearrange an sd20? There are several cameras with huge screens. I don't get it!
