Bye Canon, hello Nikon

Well I took the plunge. I enjoyed my 350D and took thousands of pictures with it mainly apperture priority or M modes. Had the manual memorised in my head.

Someone made me a good offer on my kit so I sold. Yes I am a gadget junky.

So, the D80 is on order (nearly double the price here in South Africa). Still deciding on Tamron 17-50 f2.8 (Nikon equivalent is too expensive) or the Tamron 28-75 (which I had for the 350D).

I am tending to the 18-50 as I never had anything that wide on the Canon.

Couple that with the 70-300VR, the 50mm F1.8 and a macro lens and I think I'll be all set.
