E900 vs F31fd in low light
May 14, 2007

I am thinking of replacing my Kodak DX7440 which works fine but has very bad noise at ISO 400.

Am I better off with the E900 (which has RAW) or the F31fd (which has rave reviews for high ISO performance)?

I would prefer the option of RAW but it's the low light high ISO performance that counts. Face detection is not important to me, I think, although I have never used it.

Also, which has faster response, shot to shot, particularly with flash? I am asking JPG to JPG since presumably the E900 takes much longer to save to RAW.

Any assistance is much appreciated.
