Finepix S700 Users

Sorry but the search function seems to be down again. Any s700 users out there yet, and if so, what do you think so far?
I'm looking for a step up camera for my other wife who has a Nikon Coolpix 4300 currently.
If no recommendation on the s700, is there another super zoom you would recommend in the $300 price range?
