Compressing TX1 Video Help
May 3, 2007

I got my TX1 this week and have been shooting a few videos at 720p. As everyone knows, at the highest quality, 720p on this camera consumes a LOT of memory. I would like to convert / compress the video to another format (WMV, DIVX, XVID, etc...), which ever is best, using VirtualDub. I've read some posts and looked at How To guides on http://www.VideoHelp.com , but can't find anything that describes this process and the codecs that will need to be installed.

Please post a link to a VirtualDub conversion guide or just write the steps in reply to this message, for How To compress TX1 video files in Windows XP. Keep in my that I am looking for near original quality when done and don't care how long it takes (I'll let the PC work over night).

Thanks in advance for your replies!
