35/1.4 with defect AF mechanism - no spare parts anymore...

The Sony repair center just sent me the message my 35/1.4 cannot be repaired due to lack of spare parts.
The inside mechanics of the lens is defect. However, the glass and cosmetics are like new. I don't feel like just throwing this one is the waste bin.
Does anyone have a clue on where to find a solution (e.g. a mechanically good lens with lousy/broken glass...) ?
