EFS 15-150mm f/2.8 USM and EF 24-240mm f/2.8 L USM?

14 years ago, Canon released the 35-350mm L (3.5-5.6) which had reasonably good performance.
Has technology an manufacturing progressed in the interveining decades so that they could make an EFS 15-150mm f/2.8 L or an EF 24-240mm f/2.8 that had near L performance?
What if money was no object?
