How long do you think the M8 will last?

Not sure the subject explains what I mean.
What I mean is, I read all the time on this forum of people using various M series Leicas, some 50 years old. Somebody the other day posted some fantastic pics taken on an M3 (?).
Do you think the M8 will still be being used in 50 years time?
And do you think I'll ever be able to afford one?
