S5 Pro vs. D200
Mar 29, 2007

the other day i was just playing around with my S5Pro which i bought monday and wanted to see the difference between the 2 cameras using the different settings. i also wanted to see the difference with how each handled the same light with WB set to auto, as well as high ISO.

both cameras used the same settings:
3200, f8, 1/3", +1.3EV, Auto WB, 50/1.8

1st up, is the D200

and the S5Pro

STD mode:

F2: this is over exposed because i forgot to stop down 1/3 when using this mode

a friend wanted to see it in low light, so here's a pic of our bookcase in the basement.

3200, f8, 1", auto WB, 17-55/2.8

this was taken in F2 mode. i forgot to change it back to STD.

D200 - Normal

and for thos of you that like Color charts:

Settings:
