Help with Lips, Please

Hi,

I haven't posted here lately, been busy with newspaper freelancing, but my real love is shooting portraits. THe pic here is of my lady friend's daughter, and even though I "thought" that it was a good pic, her mother almost had a fit about the "Lip Lines". I've tried everything that I know with PS CS2, but have not had any luck getting the lips to look realistic without the lines. I sure would appreciate any help! Thanks in advance! John
