Should I buy 5 year warranty for Fz50?

Well, thanks to this wonderful forum I have decided to buy the Fz50...along with an extra CGR-S006 battery, 2GB Ultra II SD, General Brand 55 mm UV filter and close-up kit...but I'm wondering if I should buy the extended 5-year warranty too? Any input on the need for these additional items would be greatly appreciated...thanks!...Donna Lee
