Adobe Bridge - slow to open find dialog

I've been using CS2 for some while, but all of a sudden, Bridge has become very slow to bring up the find dialog when I click CTRL+F.

I'm using XP SP2.

I assume it's possibly a cache problem, but I've clicked on 'Purge Cache for this folder' and 'Purge Central Cache' but it hasn't improved things.

Any suggestions?
