APERTURE handle noise in high ISO

hi, I am trying the Aperture and find that no matter what settings I make in the noise reduction / color blur pallete, the iso 800's D200 pictures still very unusablle, many hot spots as compared to the outputs of capture nx.
Am I missing somthing?
