Bag Recommendation

Will be taking a trip to NY in a few weeks and will need a bag to carry the following:

5D with 24-105 attached
17-40
CD case with some cokin-type GND filters
maybe a 580EX Flash
spare battery and some cards

Looking to travel fairly light and am looking at the Tamrac Velocity 7 or Express 6 packs, but as I'll be walking around the city a lot, I'm concerned about security. Not sure if the Velocity is the right choice as it will be on my back. I'm probably being too paranoid.
