Color management and profiling can be confusing when you first start doing it but it is well worth the effort, and once you understand the process actually doing the profiling is very easy.

I got the Eye-One Display 2 also with the spetraview kit I ordered for my NEC-LCD2690. The color sensor came with no instructions but I found this link (see below) that explained how to use the sensor and profile your system. The question I had was how to use the color sensor for ambient light readings that was answered also.
