Anything wrong with the Nikon 16mm f2.8 fisheye? That works on FF and has the same effective FoV.

Bird pictures, where cropped mode is more useful than FF. Less
filing capacity needed, more details.

The trade off here is smaller pixels are more noisy and micro-contrast is reduced.

What it comes down to is that there's always a trade off, and what suits some people doesn't suit others.
