LCD screens: Huey or Spyder2Express?

My main requirement is to calibrate a CRT screen, but I'd also like to calibrate my laptop's LCD screen (it's an IBM X31). Now, I bought a Huey a few days ago, and it fails miserably with the laptop. I get the dreaded green cast. Is a Spyder2Express likely to do better?
