50mm 1.8 - should I keep it?

I'm thinking of buying the 18-200 VR for my D50.
To help fund the purchase, I'd sell my 18-55 kit lens and 70-210 AF.
However, I'm unsure whether or not to sell my 50mm 1.8. It's a great lens, but would I use it anymore if I had the 18-200?
I am really into landscapes, but I suppose I do "a bit of everything", so I'm thinking that the versatility of the 18-200 will be ideal. It would be good to sell the 50mm if I'm not going to use it, as the cash would really help.
I currently use the 50mm for:
the occasional portrait (surely the 18-200 will be fine for this?)
low light photos (stopping it down to 1.8 seems to work well for this, and of course the 18-200 doesn't go this low. But surely the VR will mean I can have slightly longer shutter speeds in low light anyway?)
shallow DOF shots. This is the area that I'm not sure the 18-200 will perform as well in, as it can't be stopped down to 1.8.
What do people think? Any advice?
