1dmk2n price drop in Switzerland

After all the rumours last year, far be it from me to start new ones.

But

Was in a major store in Geneva today and they had just dropped the price of the 1dmk2n from CHF5000 to CHF3999. That's about $3200. Now, Switzerland is one of the few countries that comes close to the US for pricing, but it's still generally about 10-15% more expensive here for most stuff, so this price is very low.

I asked a clerk why the price and he said they were selling them off to make way for the new model arriving next month.

Normally, with this store, I'd say it's a clerk in search of a clue, but who knows.
