PoPortable drive direct to D2X?

I'm preparing to shoot NYC FashionWeek in February...it will be an event where I expect i'll be shooting about 20-30GB of images/day.

Anybody know of a portable storage device that can direct connect to a Nikon D2X?

I need a device that can connect directly to my D2X via USB, so I can bypass using CF cards...but I also need a device that is smaller than my laptop (one that will hook to a belt, keep in a shirt pocket?) and which has better battery life.

Does anyone know of a device that can accomplish this???
