30D LCD - 2.5" of junk?
Dec 12, 2006

I just got my 30D a few days ago and been snapping off a few shots around the house. I notice the colors on the LCD do not match what my eyes are seeing. The photos on the LCD have a green-yellow tint to them, definately not "true to life". Yes, I've seen other posts on this forum about this (please don't tell me to do a search before posting this again). My questions are: All of you who own a 30D, are you happy with this? Does this not bother you? Sure, I'll rely more on my histogram and composition, but I want the color to be SOMEWHAT ACCURATE. I owned the 10D and 20D, with no color problems on the LCD. Why should I be happy about upgrading when the LCD shows bad color? Is this something Canon can issue a firmware upgrade to correct this? Has anyone ever sent their 30D to factory service and they corrected this? Is it on every 30D?
Thanks to you all for your input.
