Problem after D80 focus adjustment (back focus)
Dec 9, 2006

I tried to adjust the back focus of my camera in the last two days.

Some people from several forums suggested me that I should adjust my camera to my 50/1.8 D.

So, when I adjust my camera with the 50/1.8D, my AF-S 18-70 DX has a back focus on every focal leght. Then, my 70-300G is bad too.

When I adjust my camera with the AF-S 718-70 DX, I can create very sharp images from 70mm to 35mm, very little BF on 24 and BF on 18mm too, but I think I won't take pictures on 18mm with very little DOF. So, I don't care about BF on 18mm (f3.5). In this setup, my 70-300G has a front focus on 70-100mm, but after that it is very sharp! So, it could be good for me, but with this setting (adjustment) my 50/1.8 is totally front focused.

So, what could/should I do? Any suggestion?

Other problem: the screw in the camera is very pasty. Can the service change this screw easily? Because it is a little bit stale.
