Nikon D80 New Year sale offers

Ok,

I am in the market for buying a new D80, I have checked it out and it meets all my needs.

My question to all our UK readers, Is it likly that this camera will be reduced in price in the new year , such as the January sales.

Has anyone come across this before, as i don't want to buy one now and then find in the new yr its gone down some £50, Thats funds I could use towards a lense.
