FZ-20 Batteries Europe or North America

Hello i have just purchased a FZ-20 with the standard battery that came with it. I do alot of picture taking and i will need a second or third battery for the camera.I have seen a few on ebay for a cheap price but the battery code is different from the one i have.Will a battery from there work on a North American camera. Not that i'm cheap but some advise would be grateful.
