New D40 image samples also with 70-200 f/2.8 VR

Digitalreview.ca has also posted quite a few image samples from the Nikon D40 using the new Nikkor AF-S DX 18-55mm version II kit lens and also the professional AF-S 70-200 f/2.8 VR Nikkor. Nice pics. I like the evil guardian lion.

Shows you that a big part of the equation is the glass, given of course that you also have a good camera to go with it

I think the high ISO capabilities of the D40 seem very good and probably slightly better than my D50 at 1600 ISO.

Should be lots of happy shooters joining the Nikon ranks over the holidays.
