Sigma state that the 70mm macro is their SHARPEST lens

Saw a review in Pop. Photo. stating how good the new 70mm macro is, even outclassing the very impressive Canon EF-S 60mm macro. They quoted Sigma as stating they believe this to be the sharpest lens they currently have. High praise indeed given how good the 150mm macro is not to mention the 120-300 f/2.8.

Given the 70mm is FF and has IF and is 1:1 it's worth considering as a serious alternative to the Canon 60mm.
