Ice Hotel lens choices
I'm in for a trip to Quebec's Ice Hotel this winter, and would like some thoughts on what kind of speed I'll need for this setting.
I plan to do a nighttime fashion photography shoot using the ambient light there, and of course I'll want plenty of wide-angle shots of the interior of the structure itself.
This is for personal use and L glass probably isn't in my budget. I'll be using a 350D, and the fastest lenses currently in my collection are the Tamron 28-75mm f2.8, and the Canon 50mm 1.8. The only wide-angle lens in my bag now is the Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6, which I expect may be too slow for this trip although I don't really know how bright the intereior lighting is there.
