S3 battery life

I just thought I would post my findings now that I have had a chance to really test my new S3 properly. I am using high quality 2700mah Nimh batteries and I am getting over 600 pictures on a charge. My last check was actually 620 pictures plus about 20minutes of video. Pictures were about 1/3 flash and 2/3 no flash. I used 2 second review on most shots.

Just have to say that kind of performance is excellent in my book. I can spend an entire weekend snapping shots without any fear of batteries crapping out on me. Of course if I ever do have battery failure, I can always get alkaline batteries at pretty much any gas station or convenience store. So how are others finding their battery life with their S3 or maybe comparisons to other ultra zooms?
