s3 generally overexposed

anyone notice the overexposure of the s3 on P mode on default settings. i usually bring my exposure setting down a single notch, but wondering if it's my settings or what. I've found that the P mode compared to my G3 and the image results lacking on the S3 compared to my G3 in general circumstances. any way for me to match or better those results?
