E-400 and small grip
Sep 15, 2006

I have been away from the forum for some time, looking forward to what Oly would bring up at Photokina and the discussions here afterwards. I also look forward to see the photo magazines with the reports.
I have noticed that one item has been the smallish grip on the E-400, and many have been complaining about that.
A good grip is ok, but not neccessary. I mean, I have had Nikkormat, Canon F1 and several other cameras with no grip at all. That never bothered me. As a matter of fact, I think cameras look much nicer witout a grip! I like Leica, I would not mind having the new Leica for my walk-around camera (would fit well in the bag I wrote about in another thread), but of course I can not afford such an expensive thing.
Re. grip, I don't think the Leica photographers have ever complained about the lack of a "grip".
What do you think?
